Base Oil Prices in US, Europe, Russia, etc props up, Indian Oil PSU,S keeps price unchanged effective Sept 15,2009:

 
 

Base Oil Report: Base Oil prices in US, is slowly inching upwards particularly Napthenic grades wth Ergon hiking thier postings for all the grades while Cross Oil hiked their postings for their PALE - 500 to 2000 due to renewed demand and tight availability. While lighter grades paraffinc prices stable, heavy neutrals are moving ahead. In the European domestic market is on upwards trend for smaller cargoswith low inventory. While in Export prices are hovering in the range of USD 750 - 790 per MT FOB European ports for Neutrals. Bright Stocks due to low availability is quoted upwArds in the range of USD 950 - 970 per MT FOB Europe ports. Russian origin Base Oils are quoted FOB Baltic for neutRALS in the range of USD 730 - 760 per MT. Amidst increases by all regions, Indian PSU'S keep their base oil postings effective Sept 15 2009 unchanged due to enough inventories due to huge imports of neutrals at a time with demand not prking up as expected.
